ABOUT
My name is Lan McCabe, sugar cookie artist and then some to locals and beyond. I’m a self- taught baker, mother to two beautiful children and wife to one crazy Bostonian. I grew up baking in the kitchen and keeping my family and friends sweetly satisfied since I was a teenager growing up in Edmond, Oklahoma. I started baking for friends of friends of friends and families a few years ago while I was still working full time. Thus, the name Sweets on the “Side” was born. It wasn’t until baby number two was born that I decided to run with Sweets on the Side full time. And, I haven’t looked back! I’ve delighted my family and friends with all my delicious and beautiful goodies and now I am so glad that I can bring them to you! No matter the occasion, we hope you’ll let us help make your dessert table a little extra special or provide your guests with the perfect favor!

Every cookie from Sweets On The Side is custom designed and lovingly hand made with impeccable attention to detail. All the decorations on each cookie are hand piped and/or painted individually. These are truly one of a kind cookies, no two are exactly alike. Our hope is in a small way, the labor of love we pour into the cookies can help you spread joy and love, and make this a sweeter world.
